You mined ETH.
Then they moved to PoS.
We built you an exit.
Your GPU still earns. Just for AI researchers now, not for a blockchain that shut you out. No hashrate wars. No DAG files. No coin that dumps the day you cash out.

Sound familiar?
You've been dealing with this since September 2022.
Every miner who went through the Merge knows exactly what this feels like.
ETH went PoS → you pivoted to KAS/RVN
September 2022. Overnight. The biggest GPU-mineable chain switched to proof-of-stake and locked you out. You migrated, but the yields never came back.
Difficulty skyrockets every week
Every new miner who joins KAS or RVN increases difficulty and cuts everyone else's share. It's a zero-sum race you can't win long-term.
You earned $X in coin that dumped 60%
You mined all month, watched your balance grow, then a single weekend wipe turned $80 worth of KAS into $32. The volatility is the job.
Your 3080 sits idle 16 hours/day
You're not gaming 24/7. You sleep. You work. Your GPU idles at 0% utilization and earns nothing. That's dead capital.
Direct comparison
What your GPU actually earns per month
KAS mining figures are net after electricity at €0.15/kWh — April 2026 difficulty. Cloud rental is at 50% utilization, 70% revenue share. Subtract ~$10–18/month electricity for true net.

Mining figures based on Kaspa (KAS) — best-performing GPU-mineable coin in April 2026. Cloud figures assume 50% utilization × 70% provider share × 720 hours/month.
How different is it really?
Mining vs Cloud Rental — honest comparison
Both use your GPU at full load. Everything else is different.
GPU Mining
What you're doing now
- Paid in volatile altcoins (KAS, RVN, ERG)
- Difficulty increases forever, your share shrinks
- ETH ASICs killed the party once — it can happen again
- Manage wallets, pools, exchanges, tax events on every swap
- 24/7 or you're not competitive — no in-between
Cloud Rental
What GhostNexus offers
- Paid in USD — stable, predictable, no exchange fees
- You set your own hours — nights, weekends, whenever
- AI demand grows with every new model release
- Docker sandbox, nothing to manage beyond the CLI
- Run nights and weekends only — your GPU, your schedule
Migration guide
Switch from mining in 3 commands
If you ran a mining rig, you can run this. No Dockerfile, no config files, no pool registration.
Stop your miner
Close NiceHash, lolMiner, PhoenixMiner, or whatever you're running. You can go back any time — this is reversible.
# Close your miner (ctrl+C or stop the service) # This is reversible. Your pool account stays intact.
Install the node client
One pip command. Requires Python 3.10+ and Docker Desktop (free). No DAG files, no overclock profiles to tweak.
pip install ghostnexus-node
Start earning from the queue
Paste your API key from the dashboard. Your GPU picks up the next AI job in the queue automatically.
ghostnexus-node start --api-key gn_live_... # Your GPU earns from the next AI job in the queue.
That's it. Your GPU earns from the next AI job in the queue — no hashrate to tune, no pool to switch, no DAG file to rebuild. You can pause the node any time and restart your miner if you want to compare.
Questions from miners
Answers without marketing fluff.
Q.What GPU do I need?
RTX 1080 Ti minimum, 8 GB+ VRAM, CUDA only. AMD GPUs are not supported yet — CUDA is the standard for PyTorch and JAX workloads. If you were mining ETH, your card almost certainly qualifies.
Q.Do I need to keep it on 24/7?
No. You configure your active hours in the dashboard. Set it to run 10 PM–8 AM, or weekends only, or whenever you're not gaming. Your GPU stops accepting new jobs the moment you pause the node. No pool to leave, no hashrate drop — just pause.
Q.Is it safe? Can a job access my files?
Jobs run inside Docker containers with strict sandboxing. CPU and RAM limits are enforced on every job. Your filesystem is not mounted — the container has no access to your personal data, wallets, or anything else on your machine.
Q.When and how do I get paid?
Payouts are processed within 48 hours of request. Minimum $50 cumulative. You can receive via Wise bank transfer or crypto. Earnings are in USD — no conversion, no exchange volatility, no taxable coin-to-coin swap.
Your machine stays under your control
Docker sandbox
Every job runs in an isolated container. No access to your filesystem, wallets, or browser.
Resource limits enforced
CPU and RAM caps on every job. Your OS stays responsive. Games and apps are not affected.
Stop in one command
Pause the node instantly. Your GPU is returned to you in seconds — no pool disconnection lag.
Your GPU is ready.
Stop mining thin air.
The Merge happened. Difficulty won. But AI demand for GPU compute is growing every quarter — and it pays in USD.
